Beyond the Main Feed: Our Spin-offs and Live Show
Armchair Expert is more than one feed. Here's a quick tour of the shows around it, and the design in this store that remembers our live night.
What are the spin-offs?
Armchair Anonymous. A show where listeners tell their own stories.
Flightless Bird. A show with David Farrier.
Synced. A show with Monica and Liz Plank.
Armchaired & Dangerous. It ran in the main feed from November 20, 2020, with David Farrier bringing us a conspiracy theory.
Who helps behind the scenes?
Rob Holysz is the co-creator and producer of the show and of the Armchair Umbrella shows.
What was the live show?
We took Armchaired & Dangerous on the road for Armchaired & Dangerous Live at The Wiltern in Los Angeles on Thursday, February 17, 2022. One episode of the show came from that night.
What's the live design?
Armchaired & Dangerous Live. The title in red script over a navy Los Angeles skyline, with a crossed-out December date above the real one, February 17th, 2022. It's a souvenir for anyone who was at The Wiltern, or who listened later.
And the rest of the collection?
Cherries for the Armcherries, a crow, cherries and mouse trio, Duck Duck Goose and more, all explained in our post on the art behind the designs.
